Sugar Berry
Cottage is the perfect destination for romantic getaways, small family
vacations, hunting enthusiasts, fly fishing, mountain biking or a quiet place
for those who enjoy solitude. The cottage has been newly painted and refurnished
and offers 2 bedrooms (1 Queen Bed, 1 full bed & 1 twin-combo bunker), 1
bathroom with a shower, living room kitchen combination and a laundry room with
washer and dryer. The screened front porch provides an exceptional view the
Shenandoah River 100 feet away. Sugar Berry allows direct river access during
the day and the gentle sound of rapids as you sleep. Your comfort is assured
with air conditioning in the summer and a gas fireplace in the winter.
Enjoy visiting Skyline or Luray Caverns, each just a fifteen minute drive
from the cottage. Sugar Berry is conveniently located within walking and biking
distance of canoe and tube rentals and hiking trails. The cabin is located
directly across the river from the Virginia, Andy Guest State Park. The cottage
makes an ideal place to begin a day trip to Washington D.C. and its long list of
sites and events as well as battlefields and museums in the Shenandoah Valley.
