Cabin Description:
The cabins of Lydia are nestled on a 122 acres, privately owned mountaintop known as Lydia Mountain. These rustic cabins also border the Shenandoah National Park in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Our cabins are great for a romantic getaway, spending some quality time alone with the family or just to enjoy the wildlife and nature.
They are just 10 minutes from Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, which has plenty of wildlife and trails, and 15 minutes from Massanutten Ski Resort. In a short drive, you can see the historical homes of Virginias Presidents such as, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello or James Madison's Montpelier. We are located about 110 miles South of Washington, DC, 90 miles West of Richmond Virginia, and 25 minutes from Charlottesville or Harrisonburg, Virginia. We offer over 100 acres, available for hiking with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and you can also stop in and visit one of Virginia finest pottery shops, "Blue Ridge Pottery" just two miles west of Lydia Mountain. Just next door to the Pottery, visit Skyline General Store, offering grocery, gifts and a local favorite, hand-dipped ice cream.
