Included is a large bedroom with queen-size bed and sitting area; living room with queen size sleeper sofa, fireplace, equipped kitchen, large bathroom with antique pedestal tub, shower and linens; television, VCR, heat and air conditioning. There is a large front porch with twig furniture and screened sitting porch with antique wicker. If you feel the need to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living, A Cabin at The Highlands is the place for you. Once you've experienced the peace and beauty of this retreat, you will want to return. Each season of the year has its own particular appeal.
For nature lovers there are scenic bike trails, canoeing on the Maury and James Rivers, mountain trout fishing, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, James River Face Wilderness, and St. Mary's Wilderness.
